GUIDE FOR AUTHORS

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

The International Journal of Informational Integrative Medicine (IJIIM) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes original articles, reviews, case studies, and in-depth articles on scientific aspects related to complementary medicine, integrative medicine, energetics, transpersonal psychology, quantum physics, and biophysics, primarily in English.

Accepted manuscripts will be immediately available on our website www.IJIIM.com, on the integrative medicine database www.moebius-db.org, and translated into Italian on the scientific website www.scienzebiofisiche.it (subsequently, depending on the time required by the various online databases, they will also be available on www.bibliomed.org, PubMed, and others).

This is to ensure high visibility for all scientific articles from the outset.

Manuscripts are accepted provided they are submitted exclusively to the International Journal of Informational Integrative Medicine (IJIIM).

The International Journal of Informational Integrative Medicine is a fully peer-reviewed journal. The editorial staff reserves the right to make editorial changes to all material published in the journal and cannot respond to articles not accepted for publication.

The IJIIM accepts manuscripts in electronic format through its online program. Access the manuscript submission page by clicking "login" or through a dedicated link at https://www.ijiim.com/index.php. Instructions for manuscript submission are available on the website. Monitoring and follow-up will be conducted through the online program. For any questions regarding the online program, please contact editorijiim@centromii.it

Manuscript preparation

Manuscripts should be formatted for a 210 mm x 297 mm page with 25 mm margins on all four sides.

12-point Times New Roman font is recommended for text, tables, and figures.

All text should be written in the third person and double-spaced on the left; avoid the use of tabs.

Assemble the sections in the following order: title page, abstract, text, acknowledgements, references, tables, list of titles of all figures (typescript on 1 page), and figures.

Number the pages consecutively, starting with the title page.

The manuscript must NOT contain automatic formatting (except for the page numbers in the lower right corner of each page).

Each article must include a 200-250 word abstract, which should begin on a separate page.

Abstracts for research manuscripts may be prepared in a structured format, using objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

The text should begin on a separate page and follow these word count guidelines: 3,000–6,000 for articles.

The text for original research and short, communicative-type articles must include: Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and, if applicable, Conclusion and Acknowledgements.

The number of figures and tables should be proportional to the amount of text.

All research manuscripts must include (in both the abstract and methodology sections) the year the data were collected and when the study/analysis was conducted.

The line number should be added to the document.

The journal also accepts and publishes short reports based on shorter studies that are still of interest to our readers. Short reports should contain all the same sections as a full research article, but be limited to 1,500 words, with no more than 1-2 tables or short figures.

Disclosures should appear immediately before the references section and contain the following headings:

* Acknowledgements

* Ethics approval and consent to participate

* Conflict of interest

* Funding

* Data availability (if applicable)

Acknowledge only those who have made substantial contributions to the study.

References follow the Index Medicus style and should be identified by a number in the order in which they appear in the text. References that apply only to tables and figures should be numbered sequentially at the point where the table or figure is first referenced in the text. Journal titles should be abbreviated according to the Index Medicus style, available at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK7243/

• References to personal communications should be noted in the text, not in the reference list, as: (initial, last name, affiliation, "personal communication," date).

• References to software should be noted in the text as: software name (company, city/state, year of release).

• List accepted but unpublished manuscripts in the references; indicate the journal followed by "In Press."

• Information from submitted but unaccepted manuscripts must be cited in the text as unpublished submissions (in parentheses).

• All reference numbers in the text must be entered in the order in which they were first used, in square brackets.

Tables must be in Times New Roman, each on a separate page. Use Arabic numerals to identify tables and limit table titles to no more than 15 words. Footnotes in tables must be in lowercase letters (a, b, c), except for statistical notes, which must be marked with an asterisk (*, **, ***). All abbreviations used in a table must be expanded in a legend below the table.

Figures must be presented in a format suitable for reproduction. Typewritten (or dot matrix) figures are not permitted. The typeface must be non-serif (e.g., Arial). Use only black on a white background, with bold patterns rather than shades of gray. A list of all figure titles must be typed on one page and inserted after the bibliographical references.

Once the manuscript is accepted, the author must send it in Word format to: editorijiim@centromii.it
