4. Editorial and Peer Review Process
Manuscripts must be submitted to one journal at a time. Simultaneous submissions will not be considered.
Initial review by Editors-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Section Editors, and Advisory Board identifies manuscripts with insufficient originality, scientific flaws, or low significance for rejection.
Manuscripts passing initial screening undergo peer review by at least two experts.
The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewers’ feedback. Authors are informed of acceptance, revisions, or rejection.
Average time from submission to first decision: 30–60 days.
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, plagiarism check, and PDF galley proofing. Authors must return corrections within three days.
Authors may suggest up to three qualified reviewers, not affiliated with the authors’ institutions; these suggestions are considered for future reviews.
5. Plagiarism Policy
All submissions must be original. Proper references must be provided for any extracted material.
Manuscripts are screened using iThenticate.
Suspected plagiarism triggers a notice to authors. If unresolved, NJPPP may reject the manuscript and bar authors from future submissions, reporting misconduct to the affiliated institution.
Use of published articles in media requires explicit permission from the Editor-in-Chief, coinciding with online or print publication.
6. Ethics
Research must comply with ethical principles.
Human studies require informed consent and Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) approval. Children over 7 years must provide assent.
Animal studies must adhere to relevant national/international guidelines, including humane methods of sacrifice.
