Journal of Turgut Ozal Medical Center welcomes original articles, case reports, editorials, and letters to the editor and review articles on basic and clinical medical sciences. The official language of the journal are English. All manuscripts which will be published in the journal must be in accordance with research and publication ethics. Manuscripts are received with the explicit understanding that they have not been published in whole or part elsewhere, that they are not under simultaneous consideration by any other publication. Manuscripts are also checked by IThenticate system to ensure content originality. Direct quotations, tables, or illustrations that have appeared in copyrighted material must be accompanied by written permission for their use from the copyright owner and authors. All articles are subject to revie by the editors and referees. Acceptance for publication is based on significance, and originality of the material submitted. If the article is accepted for publication, it may be subject to editorial revisions to aid clarity and understanding without changing the data presented. All authors should contribute to the submitted article directly either academically or scientifically. Presentations at congresses or symposia are accepted only if they are not published in whole in congress or symposium booklets or proceedings. Authors are expected to acknowledge the event at which they presented their work as a footnote. No fee is charged for submission, publishing, colored figures or open access. Publication in this journal is free of charge. All the costs are covered by the Turkish Association for Journal of Turgut Ozal Medical Center. Policy of screening for plagiarism: The manuscripts are scanned by the Publisher’s Office using the iThenticate program for determination of plagiarism and non-ethical situations. In publication or citation search, the name similarities of the authors, typographical errors and institutional changes can cause confusion.
